CENTRIC PROJECTS
I’m the marketer and graphic designer on Centric Projects’ small but mighty team of three. My work spans the full brand: leading RFP submissions, photographing finished projects, planning and editing social content, designing signage and advertising for every active job site, source and design Centric branded merchandise for our annual internal apparel offering, and taking lead on evolving our overall brand identity. I also lead our internal culture and events team, coordinating company events and our external presence.
Blending visual storytelling with technical proposal management, I’ve helped win new business and elevate the firm’s portfolio. Take a scroll through some of my favorite projects I’ve worked on during my time here!
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
The Children’s Place is a Kansas City non-profit that supports children who have experienced trauma. After Centric renovated their headquarters, we were invited back to transform their outdoor playground. To stand apart from competing firms, our proposal took a different approach: we invited the children to be part of the project themselves. I designed and produced custom hard hats and safety vests so they could suit up whenever they visited the playground, along with a coloring book that walked them through the construction process step by step. The result was a proposal that didn’t just describe the build, but made the youngest members of the community feel like part of the team.
THE CHILDREN’S PLACE
While most companies send holiday gift baskets full of snacks and trinkets, Centric does something different: we send our clients Valentine’s Day gifts. Past years have brought wine and chocolates, but this year the FIFA World Cup came to Kansas City, and it felt like the perfect moment to think bigger. So we decided to create custom soccer scarves!
It was a project unlike anything I’d done before. The concept took several rounds of brainstorming to land on a strategy. The scarves needed to rally behind Team USA while also showing what Centric does. Most of our work has been in Kansas and Missouri, but we’re now building a presence beyond the region, so we set out to create a tagline and visual that honored our roots while still speaking to clients from out of town.
From first sketch to final product, the design process took about three weeks and resulted in 300 scarves printed for our closest clients. Even the Hunts received one and sent back kind words about how unique the gift was. It was a reminder that a thoughtful, unexpected gesture goes a long way in building relationships.

MEET THE INTERNS SERIES
In the summer of 2024, Centric brought on 9 new interns on board to gain more knowledge and experience in the construction industry. Each intern had a unique story – so I wanted to capture the days in their lives in action to show our audience what it’s like to work at Centric. This was one of my favorite projects to work on because of the process, which included storyboarding, content creation, videography, motion graphics and more.
2025 Year END recap
It’s always nostalgic to look back on the year we had as a company – for the past two years, I compiled all of the content we took as a marketing team to put together a recap video for our employees and our clients to see and reminisce on the key milestones.
COMPANY HOLIDAY PARTY 2025
Who doesn’t love a good holiday party? Leading the culture & events team at Centric, I have a lot of fun planning curated events. I handle everything from coordination and booking the venues and various vendors, to decorating the space and even creating custom cocktail menus. This recap video perfectly summarizes the vibe of how the party went – people still talk about it to this day!
