LAWRENCE CARES

Lawrence Cares is a community advocacy organization working with stakeholders across Lawrence to build a safe, clean, and welcoming community for all. Its mission is to champion sustainable, practical policies that serve residents and strengthen the shared spaces they rely on.

The organization’s priorities are clear: put services for Lawrence residents first, promote public safety throughout the city, and encourage consistent, uniform enforcement of existing ordinances on public camping, drug and alcohol sales and use, and nuisance behaviors that affect public spaces.

I developed the visual identity and communication strategy that gave their mission a clear identity. What started with logo and type exploration, I used their mission as a reference to create a friendly, approachable, and identifiable logo mark.
